With the amazing new drag and drop capabilities on the iPad you can now drag a species (or even more than one!) over the currently selected species to create a lineage alignment where you’ll be able to learn more about how these species have evolved over time
Taxonomist has been developed using modern technologies (like Swift 4) and adopting most iOS accessibility features, including VoiceOver navigation and Dynamic Type, with the aim of making it useful for anyone and everybody. With this idea in mind, I've also made the Taxonomist's translation project public, so if you find a typo or want to participate translating the app into your language, you may do it via POEditor.
Moreover, TaxonomyKit, the open source library that powers Taxonomist is also publicly available on GitHub, so feel free to check it out if you have some ideas or want to use it in any other educational and/or scientific project!
